Aside from small groups, Cru also offers special interest groups on campus for students to connect with one another. Check out the different groups to see where you fit in.
Athletes in Action- Athletes in Action (AIA) is a ministry directed toward the WSU Athletic Department, started with the help of Cru. Athletes, coaches and support staff all participate in AIA. E-mail Todd Langerveld for more info regarding AIA or check out AIA on Facebook.
Bridges - Did you know that the majority of international students that come to WSU leave without making an American friend? We’re out to change that. Bridges is a ministry directed toward international students. Meet us every Wednesday night for Coffeehouse at 7 p.m. at One Way Books near campus (across the street from the Coug) to meet international students (if you’re an American) or American students (if you’re an international student). At Coffeehouse, students discuss topics such as culture, background and religion.
Fuel - Fuel is Cru’s Greek ministry. We have a weekly Bible study for Greek students that meets Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. in a different Greek house each week. Check out Fuel on Facebook for more info, including which house we will meet in this week.
Impact – WSU Cru’s chapter of The Impact Movement is just one part a larger global ministry. Impact movements exist on college campuses throughout the world to connect and mobilize African American students to tell other students about Jesus and grow spiritually. Check out The Impact Movement’s Web site for more info. |
