We both grew up in Oregon, with Darren graduating from Oregon State in electrical engineering and Sam from Portland State in English. We’ve been married since 2003 and have two kids: Wesley (May 2005) and Natasha (February 2008). When we’re not busy with our kids, we both like to read and watch reality TV. We’re also regulars at Cougar Country for “Munchkin Monday”. Sam enjoys making baby girl headbands, and Darren likes to run and play ping pong, though not at the same time.
We love being on staff and getting to help students be transformed by Christ. We also love raising a family around students and staff that are passionate about the Lord. |
Steve and Megan Yen (Steve 925-708-5914 Megan 509-432-5455)
Steve and Megan are Coug grads and alumni of the Greek system as well. Megan was an Alpha Gamma Delta and Steve was a Pi Kappa Phi. Megan joined staff with Cru in 2003 and Steve joined in 2006. They have been married since 2006 and have a baby (their first future Coug!) on the way. They are both passionate about reaching the Greek community for Jesus. In their free time, they enjoy the outdoors, movies, exercising, family time, cooking, and hosting students and friends. They are also avid Cougar sports fans.

Jason and Jocelyn Larsen
Jason and Jocelyn met at WSU in 2002 as students involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. They were married and joined staff in the summer of 2005 and have served at Washington State since then. They love college students and ministering on the college campus because that is when God really worked in their lives. They are praying that one day everyone will know someone who truly follows Jesus, and they believe that students have a unique opportunity during their college career to take the Gospel compassionately to their peers. As they equip Cougars to help fulfill the Great Commission at WSU, they are trusting that God will continue to use them to influence the world for Christ as future leaders.
They both love Pullman, having people in their home, supporting Cougar athletics, going on dates to new places, and being amateur movie critics. Jason loves fishing, hunting, cooking, and working on our unfinished basement. Jocelyn loves reading, running, baking, clothes, and good coffee. |
Todd and Karen Langerveld:
Todd graduated from Michigan State and Karen from Washington State, both in education. They have been married 21 years and have three children, Tyler, Corey, and Melissa. They have been on staff with Campus Crusade for 24 years, the past 15 at WSU as campus director, until 2007 when they switched to become director of Athletes in Action/Campus at WSU. |

Bobby & Melissa Ulrich (Bobby 509-432-9101)
Bobby and Melissa are both Coug grads from the class of 2000. They joined staff with Cru in 2004 after working in Spokane. Bobby was an engineer and Melissa was a teacher. They have one son, Jacob, and another baby on the way. They both love working with college students because students bring them so much life. In their free time, Bobby and Melissa watch Cougar football and basketball and go to dollar-scoop Tuesdays at Baskin Robbins. |
Matt Ogurkow 425-327-2193
Matt is a Coug grad from the class of 2006, and he’s been on staff with Cru ever since. He grew up in Everett, Wash., and majored in communication at WSU. He loves working with college students, living life with them and watching (and helping) the Gospel genuinely transform students’ lives. He also enjoys inspiring and challenging students to live for something greater by joining with God in the Great Commission. In his free time, Matt loves to play almost any sport (especially disc golf and soccer) and he’s always down for a dance party (including country swing dancing). |

Megan Brown (503)750-2894
I graduated from Oregon State in 2005 with a degree in English Literature. After one year working in Portland I left to work for Campus Crusade for Christ in London for a year and a half. When I got back I joined staff with Cru in the US and have been here ever since. I am getting ready to get married! In December I will be marrying Jesse Radoslovich, a Cougar grad who will be joining staff as well. I love working with college students and introducing them to Jesus because it was in college that the Lord took a hold of my life! I LOVE to hike and to sit in coffee shops for long periods of time to read. I love watching anything that makes me laugh with my friends. |
Robbie Cowgill (512)-784-6329
I grew up in Texas but came to WSU and graduated and joined staff in 2008. I love college students because of where they are in life, the amount of influence they have on others and am excited to be a part of seeing God change them as He did me in college. A few things I enjoy are laughing with people, sports, trying to learn guitar and piano (emphasis on trying), and movies. d>
